Gym Coaching

Starting strength training at the gym can be intimidating.

I’ll meet you at your gym to teach you compound movements that will build a strong foundation for your regular workouts. I’ll also support you in getting comfortable with the gym environment and feeling confident as you begin your training.

We’ll be following a program of compound movements using a strength building pattern of 5 sets and 5 repetitions of each movement. Each session usually takes around 90 minutes to complete.

Compound movements we’ll use:

  • Squat
  • Deadlift
  • Bench Press
  • Overhead Press
  • Barbell Row

I’ll also share links and resources I’ve used to get started in the gym. Everything I’ll teach you draws on expert knowledge and understanding.

My Experience:

  • Started barbell training in 2019
  • Progressed from ground zero – empty barbell training
  • Trained consistently three times a week
  • Added more mobility movements (yoga) mid 2024
