Starting strength training at the gym can be intimidating.
I’ll meet you at your gym to teach you compound movements that will build a strong foundation for your regular workouts. I’ll also support you in getting comfortable with the gym environment and feeling confident as you begin your training.
We’ll be following a program of compound movements using a strength building pattern of 5 sets and 5 repetitions of each movement. Each session usually takes around 90 minutes to complete.
Compound movements we’ll use:
- Squat
- Deadlift
- Bench Press
- Overhead Press
- Barbell Row
I’ll also share links and resources I’ve used to get started in the gym. Everything I’ll teach you draws on expert knowledge and understanding.
My Experience:
- Started barbell training in 2019
- Progressed from ground zero – empty barbell training
- Trained consistently three times a week
- Added more mobility movements (yoga) mid 2024
